Additional Notes Clerestory: believed to have been used by King Edward VII when Prince of Wales: also by the opera singer Madame Patti when travelling from Penwyllte Station (on the Neath and Brecon Railway) - about 1 1/2 miles from her castle home, Craig-y-Nos. P 1964 privately/Dowty RPS; Ashchurch, Toddington 1983; Swindon Works; 6/99 Bream Flour Mill, Forest of Dean: Bodmin 2007. Interior dismantled following mishap at Ashchurch. Recent major cleaning has revealed a quality wooden floor in chequerboard pattern. Believed to be the oldest surviving GWR bogie carriage. Full restoration completed and back into service 10/13.
