Additional Notes "Flying Scotsman" lounge buffet, RB from 1959 on; then Mess for Penmanshiel. P 1981 Sea Containers, resold 1983, at Steamtown till 12/85, then Llangollen member. Restoration completed by 07/12 as "The Thompson Buffet" - a close representation of the original 1948 configuration for the "Flying Scotsman" set (see photos below). Pressure ventilation system has been reinstated but is not used as is too much of a drain on the batteries. Conventional steam heating radiators have been installed in the main saloon.
